Course Overview for WSQ Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant is one of the core units in all process sectors of Process Industry. Anyone entering a Process Plant (Examples - Jurong Island, Bukom, Chevron, Exxonmobil or Pharmacuetical- Novartis, Pfizer) must have a valid

AWSHPP Assumed Skills and Knowledge (Apply Workplace Safety Health Process Plant)

Participants/Learners will be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 2.

AWSHPP Course Outline for the WDA WSQ Apply Workplace Safety Health in Process Plants (AWSHPP ) are:

• AWSHPP Identify the roles and responsibilities of an employee under WSH act

• AWSHPP Identify and prevent fire and explosion hazards at workplace

• AWSHPP Comply safe work practices and control measures for material handling

• AWSHPP Comply safety work practices and control measures for mechanical and electrical works

• AWSHPP Comply safe work practices and control measures when working on Specialized Operations

• AWSHPP Comply safe work practices and control measures when working at heights

• AWSHPP Comply safe work practices and control measures when working in a confined space

 

AWSHPP Course Duration of WSQ Apply Workplace Safety Health in Process Plant (AWSHPP):

• 9 hours (Inclusive of assessment)

 

AWSHPP Assessment:

• Written Questions

• Practical Performance

• Upon completion of the AWSHPP course and passing the examination, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG) will be awarded.
