AWSHPP Apply Workplace Safety Health Process Plants SOCOP
If you are from the Oil & Gas Industry, then chances are that you have heard of this course. And of course previously it was called the SOC Oil Petrochemical. A long time ago, you would have taken this course at MOM or over at PCS or Exxonmobil. And it was to train you before you entered the oil & petrochemical companies. In the past the safety card would have your physical photo and be laminated. After you got that, you would then enroll in an induction course with the relevant plant and a sticker would be pasted on your card.
Its alot more modern now but you will still have to undergo inductions with the plants after you have received your AWSHPP Apply Workplace Safety Health in Process Plants certification from approved training providers

All process plants will require individuals to have the AWSHPP Course certification before being allowed in as a visitor or as a resident contractor. Of course the Process Plants will require the entrants to sit through an in house Safety Induction as well.
