MOM Safety Courses, SSG WSQ Safety Courses
Updated: Sep 24, 2022
Singapore is a small country. We have 5+ million people and that includes local workforce as well as foreign workforce. We all agree that safety is a priority. Nobody wakes up in the morning to go to work to get hurt or killed.
Of course we all have common sense, like not taking showers with electrical equipment. But even common sense needs to be taught to people.
Now when it comes to work, its even more important that we pass on the knowledge to people working in the various industries about safety. We would hope that when people are trained for their job, they are taught the process which includes how to do the work in a efficient, correct and safe manner.
Yet in Singapore we have many many stand alone workplace safety Courses
Some may get confused. Is Ministry of Manpower in charge of workplace safety? Is Workplace Safety Health Council in charge of workplace safety? Is SSG Singapore Skillsfuture in charge of workplace safety? Who manages safety? Who decides what safety training people need? Are they communicating among themselves?
Anyway
