Safe Management Measures Course- Awareness Course
As we all know every well Singapore as with so many other countries in the world was affected by COVID-19. Singapore Government put in place management measures to ensure the safety of people living and working in Singapore.
Singapore had implemented this term called Circuit Breaker from 7 April. The Circuit Breaker is like a Lock Down but it allowed essential businesses to operate with safe management measures in place. It also is similar to a circuit breaker that you have in your home where if something happens, the circuit breaker trips and keeps the home safe. Hence Singapore used the words Circuit Breaker.
The Circuit Breaker also meant ONLY ESSENTIAL Businesses were allowed to operate and with restrictions or safe management measures in place.
As Singapore reaches 2 June 2020 and enters a stage were we will be exiting the Circuit Breaker, we need to do so cautiously and progressively. This would mean that not all businesses will be allowed to start and that only with certain businesses will be allowed to resume also with Safe Management Measures in place. Safe Management Measures are critical.
Under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act, failure to comply with Safe Management Measures will be fined up to $10,000 or jailed up to 6 months, or both. Repeated non-compliance will be fined up to $20,000 or jailed up to 12 months, or both.
